JAELYN TAYLOR
Jaelyn Taylor is a dedicated senior at Omaha Northwest High School, where she has made a significant impact both on and off the volleyball court. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Jaelyn is the fourth oldest granddaughter in her family and the proud sibling of Joe Jr., Jionni, and Joelle. Her journey of leadership began early, inspired by her role as a role model for her younger siblings and cousins.
Jaelyn’s commitment to guiding and supporting others has been a cornerstone of her life. From a young age, she understood the importance of stepping up and making a difference, whether through small acts of kindness or significant support. This sense of responsibility and dedication was evident when she joined the volleyball team in ninth grade. Her impact was immediately recognized, leading to her selection as captain for both the freshman and JV teams. As she advanced to the varsity level, Jaelyn continued to embody leadership, solving problems and setting an example for her teammates.
Looking ahead, Jaelyn plans to attend college to study Pre-Physical Therapy with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. She is passionate about continuing to help others, whether it's assisting with sports injuries or supporting recovery from accidents. Her aspiration to make a positive impact through her future career reflects her deep-seated commitment to serving others and underscores her deservingness of this award.
